A. DMC let's Car Owners lease-out their car to an OWNER APPROVED DRIVER for a short, medium or long term lease-out basis. REGISTERED DRIVERS seeking to lease-out a car are able to search the DMC Website, select a car and contact the car owner to negotiate a lease-out arrangement.

Q. HOW DOES IT WORK?

A. A standard 12 month membership costs only $59.95. Your car listing has a photo and description of your car, dates available, lease-out rate, driver requirements, upfront payment and any other terms you want to include.Interested Drivers contact you via the website. All Drivers provide a current RTA Driver History. Inspect the Drivers profile and either accept or reject - its that simple. Once approved, the DMC website generates the lease-out agreement and you are on your way!!!

Q. HOW DO I REGISTER?

A. Registering is easy. Just click on the REGISTER tab on the top navigation bar, and enter your details.

Q. DOES IT COST ANYTHING TO REGISTER ON DMC?

A. NO! - Anyone can register on the DMC website for free!

Q. WHY SHOULD I REGISTER?

A. Registering on the DMC website allows prospective drivers to contact Car Owners to arrange a vehicle lease-out. Also, registered Drivers get regular updates about new cars that have just become available and Car Owners get notified if Drivers matching their listing have now joined.

Q. HOW DO I SEARCH CARS?

A. Click on the DRIVE MY CAR button on the home page and follow the search prompts.

Q. HOW IS A DRIVER APPROVED?

A. A Driver is approved by the Car Owner. Drivers contact the Car Owner to negotiate the lease-out period. It is the responsibility of the Car Owner to select an appropriate Driver for their car.

Q. WHAT ABOUT MY CAR INSURANCE?

A. We recommend that you contact your car insurer and speak to them about adding the Drivers Name to your existing policy as a Nominated Driver during the lease-out period. Any additional fees or cost to your policy should be included in your lease-out rate paid by the Driver.

Q. WHAT IS THE DRIVER LIABLE FOR DURING THE LEASE-OUT PERIOD?

A. The Driver agrees to be liable for any and all fees and charges associated with your car during the lease-out period such as insurance excess amount, speeding fines, parking fines & any other fees & charges resulting from their actions during the lease-out period.

Q. WHAT IF THE DRIVER REFUSES TO PAY?

A. If the Driver owes the car owner any outstanding lease payments or any other fees or charges related to the car during the lease-out period, the Driver must pay on demand. Please make sure to get the Drivers full credit card information in the lease agreement.

Q. DO I HAVE TO PAY TAX ON MY CAR LEASE INCOME?

A. We recommend that you consult with a qualified accountant regarding how the additional income from leasing your car may effect your personal tax liability.

Q. IF I HAVE FOUND A DRIVER FOR MY CAR WHAT DO I DO NEXT?

A. The Driver must make an official booking request through your car listing. You must log into your account and approve the Driver. This will trigger the website to automatically generate the lease agreement. Just print this out and execute with the Driver when they collect the car.

Q. WHAT SHOULD I DO BEFORE I LEASE OUT MY VEHICLE?

A. All Car Owners must read the CAR OWNERS CHECKLIST found on the homepage BEFORE they lease out their vehicle.
